Winter Seven: A Collaborative Arts Production Featuring Students and Faculty, Council for Undergraduate Research 2014 National Conference, Washington D.C., June 29

Composition Performance: Winter Seven, for chamber ensemble and choir.  The song cycle will be performed at Harper College; Visiting Artist Series, Center of Performing Arts; Thursday April 24, 12:30pm.  Free Event – Open to the public!

Plymouth Place Lecture Series: Standing in the Shadow of a Giant: The Life and Work of Johannes Brahms, Glenview, IL. April 23

Composition Premiere: Winter Seven, for chamber ensemble and choir.  The entire seven-song cycle is set to premiere at Elmhurst College (Hammerschmidt Chapel) on Sunday, April 13th, at 2pm.  Free Event – Open to the public!

-Composition Performance:  Sonatina No.1; Steinway Piano Gallery; Northbrook, IL (Junk-Ok Lee, piano) – May 10.

- Three pieces from original song cyle, Winter Seven, performed on Elmhurst College Chamber Singers Tour.  Gave brief introduction explaining the concept of the work before each performance; Dwight D. Eisenhower High School; Blue Island, IL; Oak Lawn Community High School; Oak Lawn, IL (Scott Uddenberg, baritone voice; Frank Babbitt, viola; Jen Brown, flute; Soyoung Kee, piano; Elmhurst College Chamber Singers directed by Sue Moninger.  Lyrics by Lance Wilcox. – April 29.

Composition Performance:  That I Might Weep for solo flute will be performed at the 2013 SCI Region V Conference by flautist Anna Wimmer; Clarke University, April 11.

Conference Presentation & Composition Performance:  I will be presenting my saxophone concerto, Ecce Signum, at the CFAMC 2013 National Conference; Mississippi College, March 1-2.  My composition for piano, Sonatina No.1, will also be performed at the conference.
